Jay "sinatraa" Won has become officially eligible to compete in the Overwatch League, as today marked his 18th birthday. The young phenom for the San Francisco Shock has waited for all of Stage 1 and the majority of Stage 2 to make his league debut. Fans will be able to see sinatraa play with the Shock for the first time on the main stage against the Florida Mayhem on March 21st. 

San Francisco fans have been anxiously awaiting for sinatraa to become eligible to play ever since he signed a $150,000 a year contract with the Shock's parent organization, NRG Esports. Displaying exceptional DPS skills during his time competing with Selfless Gaming and later for the United States in the Overwatch World Cup this past year, sinatraa is being looked upon by the San Francisco Shock to help the team improve on what has been a lackluster season so far, as the team currently sits in 9th place with a 6-12 record.  

The newly eligible sinatraa is not the only new player that the Shock are looking to utilize in their lineups, as the team will also have their highly touted tank player Matthew "super" DeLisi eligible to play at the beginning of Stage 3. Along with sinatraa and super being made available to finally compete, the San Francisco Shock also announced the signing of two new players with one of them already starting for the team, as Grant "moth" Espe has taken over one of the main support roles for the team.  

With these new additions to the active roster, the San Francisco Shock will have the chance to make a run at a playoff spot for both Stage 3 and at the end of the Overwatch League's inaugural season.
