The NA LCS battle for the top spot is only heating up, as Echo Fox bring out two academy team members to help take down Flyquest

For Echo Fox, the games of this weekend will determine if they will be gaining a bye in the first round of the playoffs, or if they have to fight through the rest of the pack to achieve victory. Bringing out two members of their academy team today, Echo Fox has managed to take down Flyquest in a thrilling back and forth match that showcased why they were the sole number one team for so long.

The match started with excellent objective control from Flyquest, securing the first Dragon as well as the Rift Herald. Both teams managed to trade turrets before Echo Fox captured the second Dragon of the match along with first blood. Though both teams traded more turrets, Echo Fox won the first team fight, taking down two more members of Flyquest.

The next team fight went much more in favour of Flyquest, taking down three members of Echo Fox to even out the gold difference, however Echo Fox managed to recover much faster, securing the next Dragon and preparing for the next fight. When the teams clashed next, it was a blood bath, with both teams losing three members in the carnage. Flyquest would find their footing first, rallying to secure the next Dragon and setting up for the Baron.

Flyquest would secure the first Baron, but were unable to use its power effectively, as Echo Fox defended their base with gusto. As the power wore off, Echo Fox struck, taking down multiple members of Flyquest and pushing into their base, destroying an inhibitor in the process. After pulling back to secure the next Dragon, both teams prepared for the next Baron spawn.

Echo Fox managed to secure the Baron buff, using its power to push back into the base of Flyquest. A final team fight saw Echo Fox trade one life for four members of Flyquest, before taking down the last of their defences and destroying the Nexus to end the game.
