100 Thieves have taken down Clutch Gaming, as the top teams of the NA LCS battle for the playoffs bye

With only 1 week until playoffs, the teams in the top half of the NA LCS are still battling to figure out who will gain a first round bye, and who will be forced to battle next week. 100 Thieves have managed to gain an edge over Clutch Gaming, though nothing is truly settled just yet.

The match got off to an interesting start, with 100 Thieves claiming first blood while Clutch Gaming secured a very early Dragon. Both teams settled into a standard laning phase, until Clutch again traded a life for another Dragon.

100 Thieves claimed the first turret of the game alongside another kill, before finally securing their own Dragon. A team fight resulted as Clutch secured their first turret that left 100 Thieves bloodied and weakened, and negated any gold advantage they had previously built. 100 Thieves would bounce back however, securing the Rift Herald and more kills as they pushed in the lanes.

Both teams traded a turret away while 100 Thieves secured another Dragon, before a team fight at Baron left the bot lane of Clutch dead and 100 Thieves attacking their base. After securing more turrets, 100 Thieves managed to gain more kills before withdrawing to secure their third Dragon of the match. Returning to the attack allowed 100 Thieves to break open the base, destroying an inhibitor and pushing Clutch into a desperate base defence. The final team fight saw three members of Clutch fall in exchange for one member of 100T, and the Thieves squad was able to close out the game.
